Heavenly Desserts
Sitting next to God on cloud with a view of the world and enjoying ice cream together made by Him and designed by me with the skills He gave me, while we talk about everything.

To cut a long-book-in-the-making-story short...
I just want everyone to know the God who I know.
The God who I know has big love, is kind and faithful, forgiving and has a soft, sweet side to Him that will make you crumble. God say’s we are made in His image, which take me for example is someone who likes to have fun and crack a joke in the hopes of making someone else laugh, I also love laughing. The God I know, does not want your life to be “boring” (context for another post), He wants us to have fun, enjoy life and everything in it and grow more and more each day. After all, Jesus didn't turn water into wine for no reason.

I could go on forever about a million-plus reasons why I love God.
But I’m not here to preach to the choir.
Religion and the whole story surrounding it is a hard concept to grasp if you have never experienced God’s love or grew up surrounded by believers. I was blessed to have been surrounded by a family of believers.
No, life isn’t simple. No, life isn’t “easy.” Yes, believers do struggle with the same things everyone else in the world struggles with too. Being a Christian means I'm just like any other human being. I fu- duck up sometimes.

I have loads of questions for God.
I mean, where could one begin!?
Can you just imagine the kind of conversations you could have with someone who would have all the answers?
Lead in The Clouds is a testimony of my relationship with God, my human heart that has the freedom of choice to discover what life is all about. Through everything, time and time again, God is always there, both in ways we can understand and in those that remain a mystery.
I have a mission 😊: share God's love.
The Art
Haters will say it’s AI.
Maybe it is. Maybe it isn’t. What is real these days anyway?
All I know is that I spent hours that turned into days, that turned into weeks, creating my first 3 ice cream pieces in the series - it all started with pencil to paper, and paint to canvas.
The Seed of an Idea
My first three ideas started as acrylic paintings.
I photographed and took them into Photoshop, aiming to add a little digital pizzazz. However, I couldn’t find a filter that made the acrylic paintings look lifelike. They have to look as real as possible because that’s the kind of ice cream God would make. Soft serve who?
While I use elements of AI, the final images themselves are not purely AI-generated. I rely on Photoshop - and a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career 😉 - to meticulously stitch together photographs, images, and various elements to create the final pieces.
Trust me, while AI technology is incredible, it still requires detailed instructions and a guiding hand to achieve the desired outcome. It's not as simple as snapping your fingers and having everything fall perfectly into place. It involves a lot of creativity and time to bring the vision to life.
After many attempts and countless generated images, I finally get the right angle flowers. From there, I begin building up my image, adding each individual drip of melting ice cream and other elements.
Each image is completely original, consisting of hours of retouching and about 60-80 layers in Photoshop.
