I'm on a journey of discovering a painting technique and style that is me.

It's been a colourful adventure filled with trials, errors, and a lot of creativity. Right now, I'm diving into the world of acrylics because it is a vibrant, versatile medium that I’ve grown fond of, and best of all, it's a whole lot easier to start there in my opinion. But my journey doesn't start and end there, I've dabbled with oil paints too. While oil paints are charming, they haven't quite resonated with me - at least not yet, I’m not giving up!

I also have a soft spot for my watercolour pencils. There's something so soothing and magical about working with them. Currently, I'm experimenting with a few concepts using these pencils, hoping to uncover new styles and techniques.

One of my latest projects is something very close to my heart, though it’s still without a final name. I’m toying with titles like Ice Creams from Above, Ice Cream in Heaven, or Ice Creams, by/with God.

This project is more than just a creative endeavour. It's a way for me to blend my faith with my art. I hope to paint a picture of who God is to me, what faith means in my life, and perhaps offer a fresh perspective for those who might not share the same beliefs.

In our chaotic world, where religion is often judged through the lens of old-school practices, and technology blurs the lines between what's real and what's not, finding a grounding truth is challenging. It's like a domino effect, modern life impacts how we interact, often pulling us away from what’s truly real.

I've taken a serious step back to analyse everything from every angle. It's important to realise that sometimes taking one step back is essential before moving forward. Yes, onwards and upwards is the goal, but recognising the chaotic dependence on technology and the erasure of time’s natural flow is crucial. All this chaos is overwhelming.

Long story short, I hope my art can create a snap back to reality effect. Through my paintings, I aim to reconnect us with the simple, profound truths that often get lost in the noise.

Thank you for joining me on this journey. Stay tuned for more updates as I continue to explore, create, and share.
