About Me
My life journey began in my birth town
Bloemfontein, South Africa
Directly translated, flower fountain.
My childhood was filled with escapades of pure sunshine on a charming smallholding. We relocated to Cape Town when I was 8 years old and the beautiful city became my home.
Studies
Qualifications
I studied Photography and Desktop Publishing, waltzing my way to a Creative Brand/Visual Communications degree in Art Direction.
Work Experience
In the Corporate Jungle
I've swung from being a Conceptual Artist and Marketing Assistant in the EduTech realm to teaching English in Thailand. After, I worked in the printing and branding industry, mastering design, office wizardry, and all things business.
2015 whispered
"Go Solo!"
I embarked on my career as an independent Graphic Designer and Entrepreneur of a business called GoldenTech, assisting the elderly with technology in their golden years.
Fast forward to 2017
The Dutch Dream
My fiancé, Ohana our cat, and I crossed continents to settle in the Netherlands, a haven of inspiration. Here, amidst tulips and windmills, my creative spirit found new life, gifting me the enchanting world of Ingrini, which eventually led me here to Van Bokh. While jewellery making is on hold, I'm gearing up to share floral-inspired DIYs in an upcoming book.
Writing has always been my passion
From Childhood Diaries to Journals
My latest project, The Honest Unofficial Expat Guide to The Netherlands, published this year was all self-taught and driven by curiosity. I’m so excited to dive into creating awesome digital products for everyone, everywhere! Stay tuned for more updates, and thank you for joining me on this fun adventure!
